Terms & Conditions
Bonsai Packaging reserves the right to amend or up date the current Terms and Conditions. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website.
Placing an order
By placing an order on the website, the Customer is offering to contract with Bonsai Packaging on the basis of these Terms and Conditions. The parties are bound by the Contract only when Bonsai Packaging accepts to process the order. The Contract is subject to availability of the stock. We may limit the quantities of goods supplied to any one customer. In the event of non-availability of any goods you order, we may offer a reasonable substitute, which may be rejected if the Customer is not satisfied. This may affect the price to be paid. Contracts once accepted can only be cancelled or amended by mutual agreement and then only on terms which would fully indemnify the seller.
Bonsai Packaging reserves the right to refuse to sell to Customers. Bonsai Packaging reserves the right to refuse the acceptance of an order and/or to terminate any Customers trading account without explanation or notice.
Minimum Order
Bonsai Packaging's minimum order is a single case on the website. Bonsai Packaging reserves the right not to deliver an order which is valued at less than the latest minimum order value.
Deliveries
Deliveries of Products paid for by 1pm will be processed for next day delivery. Orders paid for after 1pm will be despatched the next day for delivery the day after. Bonsai Packaging will aim and do their utmost to adhere to times stated for delivery. Bonsai Packaging will not be liable for damages of any nature arisin directly or indirectly out of any delay in delivery or completion. The time stated for delivery is an estimate and not a term of any contract.
The Customer shall ensure that a responsible person shall be at the place to take and sign off the delivery of the Products. Deliveries will be made to the address specified by the Customer on their order. Bonsai Packaging reserves the right to restrict deliveries in certain areas, and this includes the right to eliminate certain areas from our delivery schedule altogether. If the Customer fails to take delivery a second attempt will be made or a card will be left stating a delivery was attempted. If the Customer provides inadequate delivery information for delivery or does not accept delivery after all atempts a charge may be incurred. This will be for the cost of carriage of the refused delivery both to and from the premises of the Customer in addition to the Bonsai Packaging's administration and re-stocking charges. A charge of £20.00 or 15% of the delivery value, whichever is the greater, will be made. Any discrepencies in orders should be recorded at the time of delivery and reported to Bonsai Packaging immediately. Any errors in delivery will be addressed according to our returns terms.
Risk and Ownership
All risks in the Products pass to the Customer on delivery. Ownership of the Products delivered to Customer remain with Bonsai Packaging until the Products are fully paid for.
Price
Contract Price is the invoice price, any offers are subject to availability, and the prices quoted or shown on Bonsai Packaging's website are exclusive of VAT @ standard rate where applicable. Bonsai Packaging reserves the right to vary or alter product specification and price without prior notice.
Prices for delivery are for U.K Mainland only. Extra carriage will be charged at cost on all deliveries outside U.K mainland. Instructions to deliver by any means other than the usual mode of transport involving additional costs may at the discretion of Bonsai Packaging be charged to the customer.
Payment
The Customer may choose to settle their account with debit or credit card over the phone when a staff member contacts them to confirm the order. The debit and credit cards accepted by Bonsai Packing are Solo, Maestro, Visa and Mastercard. Authority for payment will be requested from your card issuer at the time of your order and your card will be charged at the point of invoicing. We reserve the right to terminate our agreement with you if we are refused authority for payment or reasonably believe that payment will be refused at any stage.
The Customer may also settle their account by BACS or cheque. Goods will only be despatched once all funds have been cleared. Bonsai Packaging reserves the right to charge Statutory Interest on overdue balances for the period from the date on which the payment was due for all deliveries made and not paid in full. In the event of any BACS payments or cheques due from a Customer to Bonsai Packaging being dishonoured, a charge of £30 will be made on the Customer’s account to cover the bank and administrative costs. The account will be placed on hold until cleared funds are received in full to settle the outstanding balance of the account. Bonsai Packaging has the right to start legal proceedings to recover any outstanding amount without any prior notice and the right to exchange information with Credit Agencies.
Returns
Bonsai Packaging will only make an offer for credit to the customer if the wrong product was delivered and returned on the same day in its original condition or by prior agreement. In the case of a collection from Bonsai Packaging's warehouse, damages or other mistakes must be notified by the Customer prior to leaving the premises where reasonably practicable. In the event of a dispute Bonsai Packaging's records as to the quality of goods actually received and their condition will be conclusive. Goods returned by the customer for any other reason will be subject to a 40% handling fee and freight charge.
Online Security and Data Protection
At the time of your registration you set a password. Please keep this safe, as you are entirely responsible if you do not maintain the confidentiality of your password. You are entirely responsible for all orders placed with us or information given to us under your email address in combination with your password. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your email address and/or password or any breach of security known to you. Please note your details will not be passed on to any other company, organisation or individual for the purposes of unsolicited marketing or advertising.
